1008 Kalasha Abhishekam Held Under the Guidance of Swami Jagadatmanada Saraswathi

Dear Devotees,

Namaste. Shri Lalitambika Amman Temple located at Periya Thadagam, Coimbatore was consecrated with the blessings of Pujyasri Swami Dayananda Saraswati and is the fruit of austere penance performed by Swami Jagadatmananda Saraswati. The first Kumbhabhishekam was held on 20th January, 2000. Consecutively, the second Kumbhabhishekam was done by Pujyasri Swami Dayananda Saraswati on 6th February, 2012.

Our divine temple of Shri Lalitambika Amman has stepped foot into its 24th year. Goddess Lalitambika has showered her grace unconditionally upon devotees over the years granting all wishes and fulfilling their desires. Here at Shri Lalitambika Amman Temple, we teach Samayachara Sri Vidya Upasana, Meditation, and Yoga along with Vedanta and Vedic Astrology as per Prashna Marga which is a unique and effective system of guidance, all adhering to the knowledge imparted through authentic and traditional Guru lineages. Countless seekers and devotees have reaped the benefits of our mentoring. Through Shri Lalitambika Trust, we perform daily annadhanam, provide medical and educational aids, conduct free eye camps in rural areas, and participate in other charitable activities with a vision to contribute towards societal wellbeing. We also manage a Goshala at our temple.

Presently, our temple complex will undergo complete reconstruction in accordance with Agamic Shatras as directed by our Gurus and the divine command of Goddess Lalitambika. Abiding by the same, we have commenced the construction activities by performing the preliminary rituals on 3rd March 2023.

On 9th June 2024, Sunday, the Kumbhabhishekam of Shri Lalitambika Amman Temple will be held with 1008 sanctified kalashas of which 8 kalashas will be used for abhisheka of the temple vimana and 1000 kalashas will be offered to the idol of Goddess Lalitambika. The Kumbhabhishekam will be conducted conforming to the Agamas.

108 Shivacharyars, 108 Odhuvamurthis, 108 Vaidikas, 108 Dampatis, 108 Suvasinis, 108 Vedic Brahmacharis, 108 Kanyakas and 108 Sanyasis will be venerated during the Kumbhabhishekam.

To participate in this pious ceremony, a donation of One Lakh Rupees (₹1,00,000) shall be made for one kalasha. Sankalpa will be made for the overall prosperity of the family of the contributing devotee. After the completion of Kumbhabhishekam rituals, the devotee will be blessed and given in hand their respective kalasha with other puja articles as Prasada including an idol of Goddess Lalitambika, Mahameru, and Sri Yantra for worshipping at home. For 12 upcoming years, special pujas will be held in the name of the devotee annually and prasada will be distributed. The donation will be used for the reconstruction of the temple, Kumbhabhishekam ceremony, annadhanam, and all other activities pertaining to the same. Having dedicated themselves to devout deeds, may devotees and their families flourish and be blessed with abundant success. We invite one and all to attend the Kumbhabhishekam of Shri Lalitambika Amman Temple and seek the divine grace of Goddess Lalitambika and our Gurus.
